Help Red Dots Cycling Caps
Posted by anguskingston in cycling caps on April 18, 2013
Carolle & Richard from Red Dots Cycling in Vancouver, Canada are asking for some crowd-sourced funding to build their cap making business. I’ve contributed because I love their caps.

They say: Carolle is the artist/seamstress who loves to be creative with her hands, and Richard is the artist/cyclist, when not on his bike, paints and blogs. From the first time we met in art school we knew we were destined to work together. In 2009, we combined our strengths and set our goal to make the finest classic cycling caps. We also enjoy working with re-cycled bike inner tubes creating one-of-a-kind practical accessories.

The Jack Taylor Story
Posted by anguskingston in cycling caps on April 18, 2013
Reblogged from Off The Beaten Path:
Some stories are too big for a regular magazine article. They could just about fill a book! In those cases, we dedicate almost an entire edition of Bicycle Quarterly magazine to a single topic.
The Jack Taylor story in Vol. 7, No. 4 is a good example. My friend Mark Lawrence became friends with the Taylor Brothers during his university years.

‘Superb’ Caps

New cap from Superb in San Fran
Our new Superb Caps have just landed at the shop. After spending a long time tweaking the design I am really happy with how they turned out and the response we have had with them so far. The new design is a 3 panel black cap with the Superb wordmark creating the traditional center stripes, while the side panels have a subtle black-on-black treatment using the Superb Damask logo that really pops in certain light. Under the brim is BOSTON so you can rep the Bean as well as your local Bike Shop! The caps are 100% cotton and are made in the USA. They are already for sale in the shop and we will add them to the site very soon so all you out of towners can pick one up!
